French skincare brand Nuxe debuts on Ulta.com

Nuxe, a French beauty brand, has announced Ulta Beauty as its newest online retail partner.

The brand's signature line of skincare products launched on Ulta.com on May 8.

"We have seen a surge in interest in French beauty in the U.S. in the past few years," said Nuxe U.S. Chief Operating Officer, Cyril Carrette. "Nuxe products are cult favorites in a French woman's beauty cabinet, and our partnership with Ulta Beauty will enable us to make these French staple beauty products even more accessible to American women."

According to the Fédération des Entreprises de la Beauté (FEBA), French beauty exports rose 4.4 percent in 2015, with revenues from beauty products sold outside of France reaching over 11.8 billion euros, or the equivalent of $13.13 billion.

"Ulta Beauty is committed to securing the most sought after brands for its guests," said Julie Tomasi, Ulta Beauty Senior Vice President of Merchandising. "The launch of Nuxe at Ulta.com is a reflection of our dedication to staying on top of trends and providing the latest and greatest in skincare to our customers."

Nuxe is a highly regarded French brand famous for its beautifully scented, multitasking oils and other natural products that incorporate ingredients like passionflower, macadamia nut oil, honey and sunflower. Twenty-two Nuxe items, such as the Huile Prodigieuse® Multi-Purpose Dry Oil and the Rêve de Miel® Ultra-Nourishing Lip Balm -- two of the line's most popular items -- as well as a variety of creams and cleansers, will be available on Ulta.com starting in May.
